Beatsmack are a local Perth duo, Bezwun and Intercept who are making waves on the Breakbeat scene worldwide.. With their recent release on Dead Famous Records, a remix of "The DJ" by Home Alone creating quite a splash on the Beatport breaks charts and gaining support from many of the heavyweights in the scene. Having also released under Miles Dyson's label Plasmapool Media and another release on the way for on a BREAK Records, the future is looking bright and Beatsmack is definitely a name to keep an eye on..

So, I'm catching up on this stuff and this show is actually from August but thought it deserved a post.. Was happy to have the opportunity to present a Karton guest mix on my show as they have been among my favourite producers, especially in 2010. 2010_10_12 Breaking Point with Roxright feat Wardian on NSB Radio

This show was a big one, to say the guest mix by Wardian is impressive would be a massive understatement..Featuring mainly tunes from himself, The Brainkiller, and their collaboration Bad Taste, the Funndark Recs head honcho shows exactly how to throw down a promo mix of your own fresh material. Not for the faint hearted, it's a mix full of heavy basslines, infectious melodies and relentless energy.

Knowing what was to follow, I kicked off the show with tough stuff from the get go, and tried to keep a solid momentum throughout for the grand finale by Wardian. The download link for all my archives is in the space below and under that is the tracklisting for both his and my set.. ;)
